Welcome

At the Youth Empowerment Mission, we are dedicated to giving young people real, long-term alternatives to the gangs, violence and delinquency that challenge our communities while addressing the conditions that influence this self-destructive lifestyle.

We provide many programs and services for young people including: educational support and advocacy, counseling and case management, leadership training, life and community survival skills, entrepreneurial/work skills training, and community involvement.

Please take the time to learn more about who we are and the services we offer the community.

DIG This (Develop. Inspire. Grow.) celebrates a remarkable career education
and mentoring partnership between the Youth Empowerment Mission, Inc. (YEM) and New York Commercial Real Estate Women's Network (NYCREW). DIG This is a full-day, interactive program designed to benefit YEMÕs Blossom Program for Girls. With the support of real estate professionals and community partners, this program demonstrates some of the opportunities, skills and relationships involved in a commercial real estate career. DIG This will ultimately match forty NYCREW mentors to forty girls within the Blossom Program on an ongoing basis,
and continue to nurture the development of independent, educated young women.
